Nykredit A/S and Nykredit Realkredit A/S Chairman Steffen Kragh will step down from the companies' boards of directors at their upcoming March 26 general meetings.

The boards plan to elect Deputy Chairman Merete Eldrup as Kragh's replacement. Meanwhile, Nina Smith, who is also deputy chairman, will be elected for a new term as deputy chairman of both firms, according to a Jan. 16 release.

The companies will also recommend to elect former banking executive Jørgen Høholt as a new member of the boards.
