Enable secures contract for 205,000 Dth/d on Anadarko Basin pipeline expansion

Enable Midstream Partners subsidiary Enable Gas Transmission LLC signed a 10-year contract for 205,000 Dth/d of firm gas transportation with Newfield Exploration Co. on its Cana and STACK expansion project.

The project, also known as CaSE, would have an initial capacity of 45,000 Dth/d in early 2018 and would grow to the full 205,000 Dth/d of contracted capacity by the fourth quarter of 2018, according to an April 4 news release. It would provide takeaway capacity for Anadarko Basin production. Newfield is a producer focusing on the SCOOP and STACK plays of the basin.

Enable Midstream on March 28 closed open seasons for CaSE and its Kingfisher Extension project on the Enable Oklahoma Intrastate Transmission LLC system. The partnership is reviewing the bids to gauge customer demand for additional capacity.
