Banco Santander México names new deputy director of risk

Banco Santander (México) SA Institución de Banca Múltiple appointed Ricardo Alonso Fernandez deputy general director of risk, effective June.

Alonso replaces Roberto d'Empaire Muskus, who was appointed in 2014.

According to a May 29 press release, Alonso has been with the bank since 1994. From 2011 to 2017, he served as deputy chief credit officer in the bank's risk division.

Prior to that, Alonso was the head of institutional banking in the retail banking division from 2007 to 2011.
