Vacation rental giant Airbnb Inc. said it aims to go public in 2020.
The online short-term rental platform, which offers access to 7 million places to stay in more than 100,000 cities and 191 countries and regions, did not disclose other details about its IPO plans.
Other multibillion-dollar startups that recently went public include Uber Technologies Inc. and Lyft Inc., although their share prices dropped following their market debuts. WeWork Cos. Inc. parent The We Co. recently filed to go public, but pushed back its plans through the end of 2019 amid investor concerns about the company's valuation and corporate governance.
