T-Gaia Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥34.30 per share, an increase of 94.6% from ¥17.62 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥2.36 billion, a gain of 69.3% from ¥1.39 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 1.3% from 0.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled ¥176.74 billion, compared with ¥176.09 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses came to ¥172.92 billion, compared with ¥173.83 billion in the year-earlier period.
Reported net income grew 80.5% on an annual basis to ¥2.15 billion, or ¥31.20 per share, from ¥1.19 billion, or ¥15.04 per share.
As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.90.
