Auto Hall H1 profit climbs YOY

Auto Hall S.A. said its first-half normalized net income came to 114.5 million dirhams, an increase from 110.9 million dirhams in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue rose 27.0% on an annual basis to 2.53 billion dirhams from 1.99 billion dirhams, and total operating expenses climbed 28.3% on an annual basis to 2.32 billion dirhams from 1.81 billion dirhams.

Reported net income came to 118.8 million dirhams, compared with 118.5 million dirhams, or 2.46 dirhams per share, in the prior-year period.

As of Oct. 4, US$1 was equivalent to 9.76 Moroccan dirhams.
