Emerald Medical Applications Corp. appointed Alimi Ahmed, who has been a director since December 2016, as board chairman, replacing Yair Fudim, who had served as chairman since April 30, 2015.

Fudim will continue to serve as a director. Ahmed currently serves as chairman and CEO of VaxilBio Ltd.

In addition, Adi Zamir will resign as CEO, effective June 23. During the period from March 26 until the effective date, she will continue to serve as CEO, and if a successor is appointed before the effective date, Zamir agreed to continue to serving in a nonexecutive officer capacity until the effective date.
