DISH offers access to NBCU's 4K HDR Olympic coverage

DISH Network Corp. will offer access to NBCUniversal Media LLC's 4K High Dynamic Range coverage of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games from PyeongChang, South Korea.

DISH subscribers will also have access to 2,400 hours of NBCUniversal's Olympic live, on-demand and streaming coverage, the company said Feb. 7. The 4K HDR coverage will be available on one-day delay and include footage from the Opening Ceremony, figure skating and hockey.

Also, DISH will offer up to three events from the previous day's competition schedule daily on DISH channel 540 from Feb. 10, the day after the Opening Ceremony, through Feb. 26, the day after the Games conclude.

DISH subscribers will require a Hopper 3 and 4K HDR television to access the 4K HDR content. DISH will offer a sports hub for NBCU coverage across NBCSN (US), USA (US), CNBC (US), Olympic Channel (US) and DISH channel 540. DISH's sports hub can be found on channel 147, titled as "2018 Winter Olympics Channels."

Consumers can access more than 1,800 hours of Olympic live streaming coverage on NBCOlympics.com and NBC Sports app.

NBCU is owned by Comcast Corp.
