Anglo American taps Stuart Chambers as chairman

Anglo American Plc appointed Stuart Chambers as chairman of the company, replacing John Parker, who will step down from the board Oct. 31.

Chambers will join as nonexecutive director Sept. 1 and take up the chairman role Nov. 1, according to the June 7 release.

The incoming Anglo chief was chairman of ARM Holdings Plc and of Rexam Plc until 2016 and has served as a nonexecutive director on the boards of Smiths Group Plc and Tesco Plc.
