Vango Mining Ltd. said April 4 that it has engaged a mining contractor to undertake the next phase of drilling at its flagship Trident gold deposit, within the company's wholly owned Plutonic Dome gold project in Western Australia.
The diamond drill program will comprise five holes, totaling about 1,200 meters with drilling to depths of 230 meters to 250 meters.
Drilling is scheduled to begin mid-April and is expected to last about one month.
The program will test for extensions to existing zones of high-grade mineralization within the Trident resource and determine the control of the mineralization at the deposit.
Results are expected to help refine targets for follow-up drilling and provide a basis to upgrade the Trident mineral resource estimate.
