HBO hit by new leaks

Hackers who recently stole information from HBO (US) leaked another cache of data, but the latest dump does not include any material related to the hit fantasy-drama series "Game of Thrones," The Associated Press reported Aug. 13.

The latest leak includes unaired episodes from the upcoming season of comedy "Curb Your Enthusiasm," which airs Oct. 1; the Aug. 13 episode of comedy-drama series "Insecure;" and episodes of "Ballers" and unaired shows such as "Barry" and "The Deuce."

In response, Time Warner Inc.-owned HBO said it will not participate in what it called attempts to gain attention by releasing "bits and pieces of stolen information." The network said it was not in communication with the hackers.

The group, which earlier demanded ransom worth millions of dollars, claims to have stolen 1.5 terabytes of HBO's shows and confidential corporate information.
