Midwest Composite Technologies sold to Core Industrial Partners

Chicago-based private equity firm Core Industrial Partners paid an undisclosed sum to buy out Hartland, Wis.-based Midwest Composite Technologies Inc.

Midwest Composite, through a so-called industry technology 4.0 platform, offers prototype and low-volume production components for medical, aerospace, research and development, consumer, general industrials and other end markets.

Core Industrial invests in lower middle-market manufacturing and industrial technology businesses in North America.

Monroe Capital provided financing for the transaction, and Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP provided legal representation to Core Industrial.
