TOYA SpA Q3 profit climbs 28.4% YOY

TOYA Spólka Akcyjna said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to 8 groszy per share, an increase of 28.4% from 7 groszy per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 6.6 million zlotys, a gain of 28.4% from 5.1 million zlotys in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 8.4% from 7.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 15.1% year over year to 78.6 million zlotys from 68.3 million zlotys, and total operating expenses increased 13.3% from the prior-year period to 67.9 million zlotys from 59.9 million zlotys.

Reported net income increased 37.5% on an annual basis to 8.6 million zlotys, or 11 groszy per share, from 6.3 million zlotys, or 8 groszy per share.

As of Nov. 3, US$1 was equivalent to 3.90 zlotys.
