Comcast makes Xfinity Prepaid Internet Service available in all service areas

Comcast Corp.'s Xfinity Prepaid Internet Service is now available throughout the company's service area.

Customers can sign up for Xfinity Internet service and can buy their starter kit for $80, which includes a wireless gateway and 30 days of service. Users can refill through the pay-as-you-go offering any time they would like, for either seven or 30 days, with a seven-day refill costing $15 and a 30-day refill costing $45, though the prices may vary at retail stores, the company said in a statement.

The service does not have a credit check or an annual contract. Customers can subscribe to the service at select Xfinity stores, online, or through participating Boost Mobile retail locations. Further, users can renew and refill services on their own schedule and as many times.

The company plans on relaunching an Xfinity Prepaid Video Service across its footprint later in 2017.
