5 advisers join Janney Montgomery Scott

Five advisers, previously managing more than $445 million in combined client assets, have joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, InvestmentNews reported Sept. 4.

The advisers were earlier affiliated with Wells Fargo & Co. unit Wells Fargo Advisors.

Glenn Ratcliffe, who oversaw more than $150 million in client assets, joined the company's office in Fairfield, Conn., as first vice president of investments and assistant complex manager.

In the company's office in Syracuse, N.Y., Samuel Sammarco joined as senior vice president of wealth management; William Moore and William Nice joined as vice presidents of wealth management; and Lorrie Frawley joined as senior register private client associate.

Sammarco, Moore and Nice managed about $300 million in client assets.
