Blackstone affiliate sells Washington, DC, building for $231M

An affiliate of private equity giant Blackstone Group Inc. sold the approximately 217,000-square-foot building at 815 Connecticut Ave. NW in Washington, D.C., for approximately $231.3 million, The Washington Business Journal reported, citing a deal recorded with the D.C. Recorder of Deeds.

The buyer of the property, whose anchor tenant Baker McKenzie will occupy the asset through 2033, was an affiliate of Spanish investor Ponte Gadea, according to the publication.
