Abanka d.d. agreed to sell a portfolio of nonperforming loans to distressed-asset manager DDM Group, the Slovenian lender said March 21.
The portfolio includes diversified claims against companies in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, the lender noted, adding that the transaction will significantly reduce the size of its NPL portfolio.
DDM Holding AG unit DDM Debt AB (publ) said in a separate filing that the gross collection value of the portfolio to be acquired from the Slovenian lender amounts to around €240 million, with about 90% of the loans issued to companies in Slovenia and Croatia.
