Marathon Oil Corp. disclosed May 31 that it has completed the sale of its 15% interest in the Atrush block in Kurdistan, which marks its exit from the country.
The company's first-quarter production in Kurdistan averaged 2,400 net barrels of oil equivalent per day and was 100% oil.
The oil and gas producer said earlier it will focus on four U.S. unconventional plays, amid its exit from 10 countries since 2013.
