JPMorgan Private Bank has named Samuel Zief to a foreign exchange strategy leadership role, Bloomberg News reported, citing Jason Lobo, the company's head of communications for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Lobo confirmed to S&P Global Market Intelligence that Zief was named global foreign exchange strategist. Zief relocated to London in October from New York, where he started in the role in July.
Bloomberg reported that Zief is filling a new position for the company and will help the foreign exchange desk to create wealth management strategies for clients in Europe and the Middle East.
Zief was previously an analyst and trader for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
