Google wins FCC consent to use Project Loon for Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands

Alphabet Inc. unit Google Inc. won permission from the Federal Communications Commission to provide LTE connectivity in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands through its Project Loon balloons, according to an FCC filing.
