T-Mobile US Inc. on Feb. 8 reported a year-over-year gain in fourth-quarter 2017 net income to $2.71 billion, or $3.11 per share, from net income of $390 million, or 45 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.
The GAAP S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate for the quarter was 38 cents. The impact from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on net income and EPS was a benefit of $2.2 billion and $2.50 in the fourth quarter and $2.2 billion and $2.49 in 2017, respectively.
Revenue for the fourth quarter was $10.76 billion, up 5.1% year over year from $10.23 billion.
