Westamerica decreases board size

Arthur Latno Jr. has retired as a director of San Rafael, Calif.-based Westamerica Bancorp.

In connection with Latno's retirement, the board on March 22 amended the company's bylaws to reduce the board's size to eight members from nine. The amendment took immediate effect.

Westamerica Bancorp. is the $5.51 billion-asset holding company of Westamerica Bank.
