Viscount Mining Corp. estimated a National Instrument 43-101-compliant maiden mineral resource for the Kate deposit at its Silver Cliff property in Colorado.
The deposit hosts 2.1 million tonnes of ore at 84 g/t silver for 5.6 million contained ounces in the indicated category and 3.2 million tonnes at 70 g/t silver for 7.1 million contained ounces in the inferred category, effective April 15.
Kate was the first area drilled from the four known historical silver deposits on the Silver Cliff property, the company said May 30.
"The deposit remains open to the west and possibly to the northeast where a limited amount of drill testing has been conducted," Viscount geologist Harald Hoegberg said.
