Maruti Suzuki sales up 3.9% YOY in December

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. posted a 3.9% year-over-year growth in its total vehicle sales for December 2019.

The Indian subsidiary of Japan's Suzuki Motor Corp. sold 133,296 vehicles during the month, compared with 128,338 sold in December 2018.

The automaker's total domestic automobile sales increased by 3.5% to 125,735 from 121,479 a year ago.

Total exports in December were up 10.2% year over year to 7,561 vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 122,784 passenger vehicles domestically, up 2.5% from 119,804 sold in December 2018.
