Wal-Mart shareholders elect 11 directors to board

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. shareholders at their annual meeting elected 11 directors to the retail giant's board, according to a company announcement June 2.

The directors elected are James Cash Jr., Timothy Flynn, Carla Harris, Thomas Horton, Marissa Mayer, C. Douglas McMillon, Gregory Penner, Steven Reinemund, Kevin Systrom, S. Robson Walton and Steuart Walton.

The shareholders also ratified the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as Wal-Mart's independent auditor.
