Radico Khaitan Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to 1.14 Indian rupees per share, a decrease of 21.2% from 1.45 rupees per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 151.7 million rupees, a decline of 21.6% from 193.4 million rupees in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 3.8% from 5.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 5.3% on an annual basis to 4.00 billion rupees from 3.79 billion rupees, and total operating expenses rose 8.1% on an annual basis to 3.63 billion rupees from 3.35 billion rupees.
Reported net income declined from the prior-year period to 212.7 million rupees, or 1.60 rupees per share, from 215.2 million rupees, or 1.61 rupees per share.
As of Feb. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 62.38 Indian rupees.
