Frontier Lithium Inc. said Dec. 12 that it increased its landholding at the PAK lithium project in Ontario by 180% or 14,248 hectares.
The staking of the additional 725 mining claims, to include the prospective Electric Avenue corridor, is due to the recent discovery of the Spark pegmatite.
President and CEO Trevor Walker said the company plans to drill the Spark showing in winter 2018, aiming to add additional resources to PAK. "[T]his upcoming work will commence our study of the relationship and possible connection between the PAK deposit and the showing located only [2.3 kilometers] away from each other."
In March, a preliminary feasibility study for PAK pegged a posttax net present value, discounted at 8%, of C$301 million and a 38.3% internal rate of return.
