Telson's Campo Morado zinc mine suspended after worker dies

Telson Mining Corp. suspended operations at its Campo Morado mine in Guerrero, Mexico, after a worker died.

The worker was fatally injured while repairing an underground articulated haulage dump truck, according to a Sept. 10 release.

The company said mine safety crews conducted an initial investigation and attributed the accident to human error.

Telson reported the accident to all required state and federal authorities.
