Bourbon Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to ¥50.23 per share, a gain of 44.4% from ¥34.80 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.22 billion, a gain of 44.3% from ¥844.4 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 4.1% from 2.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew on an annual basis to ¥29.59 billion from ¥28.75 billion, and total operating expenses rose year over year to ¥27.97 billion from ¥27.62 billion.
Reported net income grew 32.9% year over year to ¥1.23 billion, or ¥50.82 per share, from ¥928.0 million, or ¥38.24 per share.
As of Feb. 10, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.28.
