PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust closes common stock offering

PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust on Dec. 13 closed an offering of 8 million common shares of beneficial interest.

The underwriters fully exercised their option to buy up to an additional 1.2 million common shares. The company received net proceeds of about $200.9 million from the offering.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, BofA Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., Nomura Securities International Inc. and Piper Jaffray & Co. were underwriters for the offering.
