Burger Fuel Worldwide Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 came to NZ$211,250, an increase from NZ$60,000 in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
Total revenue rose 25.6% on an annual basis to NZ$8.4 million from NZ$6.7 million, and total operating expenses rose 23.7% from the prior-year period to NZ$8.2 million from NZ$6.6 million.
Reported net income grew from the prior-year period to NZ$213,000, or 0 cents per share, from NZ$96,000, or 0 cents per share.
As of Dec. 19, US$1 was equivalent to NZ$1.29.
