Rock Field fiscal Q3 profit climbs 20.0% YOY

Rock Field Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Jan. 31 was ¥21.06 per share, an increase of 20.0% from ¥17.55 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥559.4 million, a gain of 20.0% from ¥466.3 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 4.2% from 3.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to ¥13.37 billion, compared with ¥13.41 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses decreased year over year to ¥12.48 billion from ¥12.66 billion.

Reported net income increased 27.4% on an annual basis to ¥558.0 million, or ¥21.01 per share, from ¥438.0 million, or ¥16.49 per share.
