Fernando Nicolau joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Miami, focusing on ultra-high-net-worth Brazilian clients, AdvisorHub reported.
Nicolau was most recently with JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he managed more than $1 billion in assets.
In March, Juliano de Souza e Silva joined Merrill Lynch after previously managing $200 million in assets for ultra wealthy Brazilian clients at BTG Pactual, while Leon Friedlander joined in April from Morgan Stanley, where he managed accounts of Venezuela clients, the news outlet noted.
