IHH Healthcare Q3 earnings fall 42% YOY

IHH Healthcare Berhad said its third-quarter earnings declined 42% year over year.

The healthcare company reported profit after tax and minority interests, excluding exceptional items, of 125.4 million Malaysian ringgit, down from 217.6 ringgit in the year-ago period.

IHH Healthcare booked 2.80 billion ringgit in revenue, a 15% increase from 2.44 billion ringgit in the previous year. EBITDA was 562.4 million ringgit, up 3% from 546.3 million ringgit a year earlier.

The company attributed its sustained revenue growth to new and existing operations, along with the acquisition and consolidation of Tokuda Group and City Clinic Group in Bulgaria.

As of Nov. 24, US$1 was equivalent to 4.11 Malaysian ringgit.
