Frasers completes Australian industrial park with 6 Star Green Star rating

Frasers Property Ltd.'s Frasers Property Australia Pty. Ltd. completed the development of the 20.4-hectare Horsley Drive Business Park in Sydney's Wetherill Park suburb.

Constructed in collaboration with joint venture partner Western Sydney Parklands Trust, the project spans 98,461 square meters of space across eight facility buildings with an end value of over A$200 million.

All the buildings in the industrial estate received 6 Star Green Star ratings and the park is the first industrial precinct in Australia to be certified as such. The property features a 1,177-kilowatt solar facility, rainwater tanks to reuse water for landscape irrigation and toiler flushing, LED lighting and electric vehicle charging locations. Climate risk assessments were also considered during the design and construction of the facilities.

In a separate release, Frasers Property Australia volunteers took part in a tree-planting activity at Wyndham Vale Primary School in Victoria, Australia. The company marked the 10th year of its tree-planting campaign across Australian communities, part of the Planet Ark initiative.

In the last four years, volunteers from the company have already planted close to 8,000 trees and over 100 Frasers Property Australia members are joining the initiative nationwide in 2018.
