Sanlam names CEO of personal finance biz

South Africa-based Sanlam Ltd. appointed Jurie Strydom CEO of Sanlam Personal Finance, effective June 1.

Strydom, currently Sanlam Personal Finance joint deputy CEO, replaces Hubert Brody, who will step down May 31 "to attend more closely to his other interests."

Sanlam also named Temba Mvusi acting CEO of its corporate cluster until a permanent appointment is made during 2017. Mvusi, currently CEO of group market development, will assume his new role April 1 and retain his current responsibilities at Sanlam and unit Santam Insurance Ltd.
