Arrow Minerals drops plan to sue Dreadnought over Illaara gold project deal

Arrow Minerals Ltd. decided not to pursue its planned legal action against Dreadnought Resources Ltd. over the latter's acquisition of the Illaara gold project in Western Australia from Newmont Goldcorp Corp.

In August, Arrow Minerals threatened to sue Dreadnought Resources over the alleged misuse of confidential information regarding the Illaara deal.

The issue was resolved after the companies engaged in further discussions, according to separate Sept. 13 statements, with Arrow Minerals planning to continue to focus on its exploration projects in Burkina Faso and Western Australia.

Arrow Minerals expects to report results from a 2,500-meter drill program at the Divole East gold project in Burkina Faso by mid-September.
