Canadian Natural Resources grosses $998.5 million from debt offering

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. raised gross proceeds of $998.5 million from an offering of 2.95% unsecured notes due Jan. 15, 2023.

The company plans to use the proceeds for redemption or repayment of debt securities and acquisitions or investments.

Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., MUFG Securities Americas Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC were the lead underwriters.

BMO Capital Markets Corp., CIBC World Markets Corp., Mizuho Securities USA LLC, RBC Capital Markets LLC, Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC also served as underwriters for the offering.
