Shuei Yobiko Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to ¥32.61 per share, a decline of 22.7% from ¥42.20 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥218.8 million, a decline of 22.7% from ¥283.1 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 7.1% from 8.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 5.6% on an annual basis to ¥3.09 billion from ¥3.28 billion, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to ¥2.72 billion from ¥2.81 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥34.0 million, or a loss of ¥5.07 per share, compared to income of ¥216.0 million, or ¥32.20 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
