Levine Leichtman closes fund VI at $2.5B

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners LLC raised $2.5 billion of capital commitments for Levine Leichtman Capital Partners Fund VI LP, above its $2.2 billion target.

Global institutional investors including public and private pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments and foundations, insurance companies, funds of funds, wealth management platforms and family offices contributed to the fund.

The Los Angeles-based private equity firm, which backs middle-market companies in the U.S. and Europe, said the fund has deployed approximately $552 million across four investments.
