Pyung Hwa Holdings Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to a loss of 102.46 South Korean won per share, compared with a loss of 188.24 won per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 1.47 billion won, compared with a loss of 2.71 billion won in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to negative 1.1% from negative 2.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose year over year to 133.60 billion won from 128.73 billion won, and total operating expenses grew year over year to 136.79 billion won from 130.66 billion won.
Reported net income came to a loss of 8.87 billion won, or a loss of 616.58 won per share, compared to a loss of 5.13 billion won, or a loss of 356.00 won per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 1,172.80 South Korean won.
