Nice Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 was ¥207.43 per share, an increase of 10.7% from ¥187.32 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.95 billion, a gain of 10.7% from ¥1.76 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 2.5% from 2.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose on an annual basis to ¥79.32 billion from ¥75.81 billion, and total operating expenses increased from the prior-year period to ¥75.97 billion from ¥72.79 billion.
Reported net income rose 8.7% on an annual basis to ¥3.28 billion, or ¥349.74 per share, from ¥3.02 billion, or ¥321.86 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥56.66 per share, an increase from ¥16.35 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥531.6 million, an increase from ¥153.4 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased from the prior-year period to ¥238.60 billion from ¥235.78 billion, and total operating expenses came to ¥236.97 billion, compared with ¥234.76 billion in the year-earlier period.
The company said reported net income rose 14.4% on an annual basis to ¥558.2 million, or ¥59.37 per share, in the full year, from ¥487.9 million, or ¥52.00 per share.
As of June 29, US$1 was equivalent to ¥102.64.
