Great Lakes Home Health Services Inc., known as Great Lakes Caring, National Home Health Care Corp. and Jordan Health Services Inc. will merge to create one of the biggest privately held home-based care providers in the U.S.
The new company will serve over 63,000 patients and their families on a daily basis, employing over 31,000 caregivers across 15 states in 221 locations, according to a news release.
The merged company will keep its corporate headquarters in Michigan, Connecticut and Texas, and operate in service lines providing personal care, skilled home health, and hospice care.
In conjunction with the merger, private investment firm Palladium Equity Partners LLC will sell its stake in Jordan Health to private equity firms Blue Wolf Capital Partners LLC and Kelso & Co. LP. Blue Wolf has invested in National Home Health Care and Great Lakes Caring over the past two years.
