Civitas Social Housing increases dividend

Civitas Social Housing PLC declared a quarterly dividend of 1.25 pence per ordinary share for the first quarter.

The dividend will be paid on or around June 8 to ordinary shareholders on record as of May 18. The previous quarterly dividend was 0.75 pence per ordinary share.

The company is targeting dividend payments of 5.0 pence per share for the full 2018 year.

The U.K.-based social housing real estate investment trust declared the first dividend on its C shares at 1.13 pence per C share for the period since the C shares were issued on Nov. 14, 2017, to March 31.

The C share dividend will be paid on or around June 8 to holders of C shares as of May 18. C share holders are entitled to a cumulative preferential dividend of 3% per annum pro-rated up until the C shares are converted into ordinary shares.
