Providence, R.I.-based Citizens Financial Group Inc. added David Musicant as the head of its newly established West region and hired Jim Malz as Ohio president and head of the Midwest region.
Musicant joins from Fifth Third Bank, where he most recently was managing director, while Malz comes from JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he most recently headed the middle market banking and specialized industries business. Malz succeeds Joseph Giampetroni, who is leaving for other opportunities.

Ralph Strayhorn III resigned from the boards of Lincolnton, N.C.-based Carolina Trust BancShares Inc. and its subsidiary, Carolina Trust Bank, effective Sept. 10.

Houston, Texas-based Allegiance Bank's executive vice chairman and director, Roland Williams, resigned from the bank's board, effective Sept. 11. Williams will continue to serve on the board of the bank's parent company, Allegiance Bancshares Inc.

Thomson Reuters Corp. appointed Tony Kinnear as president of its legal professionals customer segment, effective Oct. 1.
Kinnear manages the company's Asia and emerging markets region.

CDK Global's executive vice president and business leader of core dealer management systems, Dan Flynn, will retire from the company, effective Sept. 20.
