Think Childcare posts H2 profit

Think Childcare Ltd. said its second-half normalized net income amounted to A$3.3 million.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue totaled A$26.1 million, and total operating expenses came to A$20.5 million.

Reported net income came to A$3.7 million, or 9 cents per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 11 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of 11 cents.

EPS was a loss of 17 cents in the prior year.

Normalized net income was A$4.4 million, compared with a loss of A$6.7 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue rose year over year to A$46.5 million from A$17.4 million, and total operating expenses rose 55.9% year over year to A$39.1 million from A$25.1 million.

The company said reported net income totaled A$4.8 million, or 12 cents per share, in the full year, compared with a loss of A$14.5 million, or a loss of 37 cents per share, the prior year.
