Isbank's FY'16 profit increases YOY

Türkiye Is Bankasi AS reported full-year 2016 net profit attributable to the group of 5.0 billion Turkish lira, up from 3.33 billion lira in the year-ago period.

Net interest income rose year over year to 12.42 billion lira from 10.20 billion lira, while net fee and commission income increased to 2.15 billion lira from 1.81 billion lira.

The lender's net trading loss amounted to 417 million lira, compared to a loss of 325.2 million lira in 2015.

Provisions for losses on loans and other receivables reached 2.84 billion lira, compared to 2.29 billion lira a year earlier.
