King River Copper Ltd. said March 19 that its Speewah Mining Pty. Ltd. subsidiary applied for three exploration licenses around its early stage Mount Remarkable gold project in Western Australia.
The tenements, known as Wilson River, Jail House Creek and Tunganary/Middle Branch, comprise 478 blocks covering a combined 1,568.8 square kilometers.
King River aims to identify and test various new targets on the new licenses while advancing existing prospects at Mount Remarkable, with combined reverse circulation and diamond drilling planned to start in early May.
