Westpac to issue US$1.75B of securities

Westpac Banking Corp. plans to issue up to US$1.75 billion in securities.

The bank said in a Form 6-K filed Dec. 11 that it will issue US$1.25 billion of 2.750% notes due Jan. 11, 2023, and US$500 million of floating-rate notes due Jan. 11, 2023.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Westpac Banking and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. are the underwriters to the issue.
