Landore: Preliminary metallurgical tests on BAM East indicate 98% gold recovery

A preliminary metallurgical assessment on the BAM East gold prospect at Landore Resources Ltd.'s polymetallic Junior Lake property in Ontario indicated combined gold recovery rates averaging 98%, using a combined gravity concentration and cyanidation leaching process.

The company submitted two composites of 28 samples taken from drill core to ALS Metallurgy for metallurgical testing, according to its Jan. 23 statement. The first composite had an overall gold recovery of 98.7% while the second had a 97.8% recovery.

The report recommended further testing using coarser primary grind sizing as well as further testing of other zones of the deposit. Landore expects the testing to be completed by the third quarter, with results to be incorporated into a pre-feasibility study.
